A boy from Bankstown makes good.
Socceroo #554, is Terry Antonis, who began his football journey at the Panania club St.Christopher's in the Bankstown association from Sydney's inner south-west.
Terry made his mark in the South East Asian Championships in 2012 where so many of the A-League players were given an opportunity by coach Holger Osiek to make an impression in the lead-up to the 2014 World Cup.
Antonis graduated into the Bankstown rep set-up and then on to Marconi and the NSW Institute, before heading to the AIS and Sydney FC, for his first taste of senior football.
He made his debut for Australia off the bench against Hong Kong before graduating to the starting line-up against Guam four days later.
