The following list is definitive. The clubs listed are those nominated by the players themselves or in the case of those deceased prior to the commencement of the GFP, nominated by family or through exhaustive research. The list is on-going and will be added to whenever clubs are nominated. The green names are those of Matildas and the numbers are official FFA cap numbers.
At the time of publishing Balgownie is not only the oldest club still running but also the best represented, though this may change with time and research. Many of the listed club no longer exist others have become part of merged entities thus creating new clubs and are signified in red. Did your GrassRoots club make the list ?
