Born the son of a former Perth Glory & Serie B defender, and growing up in Perth, Alessandro Circati, Socceroo #637 was always going to name Perth SC as his Grassroots club.
Starting at Forrest Park as a forward in the under 6s, Alessandro, guided by coach Adrian De Rossi, was directed to follow his father Gianfranco's footsteps and move into defence. He then moved into the Perth Glory Academy before moving to Parma in the Italian Serie B, with whom he won promotion to the Series A in 2024.
Circati made his debut for Australia in the Soccer Ashes clash with New Zealand at Brentford's GTech Stadium in October 2023 just a week after turning 20, and looked immediately at home at the international level.
His nomination of Perth SC moves the club into the upper echelon of producers of Australian players, bringing their number to 6 confirmed, starting with Gary Marocchi #260 and including Adrian Madaschi, Eli Babalj, Mark Birighitti & the Matilda Tal Karp.
