Sharon has named Wentworthville (Wenty) Waratahs as her GrassRoots club.
Sharon was a member of the side that just missed out on qualification for the 1st Women's World Cup in the Oceania tournament in PNG, making her debut in the defining 1-0 loss to NZ.
Wenty Waratahs are a member of the powerful & historic Granville Association and play out of what was Centenary Park in Merrylands, in the heart of WSW territory.
It is indeed a pleasure to welcome another of the earlier Matilda's into the fold.
ps... the blonde at Sharon's left shoulder is Matilda's legend Tracey Wheeler's elder sister Jackie & Tracey would be playing with them a couple of years later.
