Sam Silvera began playing at Lionel Watts Reserve in Sydney's north as a four year old and spent all his formative years there before moving to the FNSW Institute and then Westfield Sports High where he completed his football education.
The winger was a central figure in the Central Coast Mariners 22-23 Championship winning side and his eye catching performance in the Grand Final was a clear factor in Arnold selecting him to make his debut against Mexico in Dallas in 2023.
Like so many other Aussies, Silvera made the move to the UK where he, at the time of writing, was playing alongside fellow Socceroo Riley McGree and former Melbourne City keeper Tom Glover.
