1967 custodian, Socceroo #195, Roger Romanowicz, has nominated Adelaide Polonia as his GrassRoots club. Polonia, now known as the Croydon Kings, still play out of Polonia Park, a mere 10mins from Coopers Stadium (Hindmarsh Stadium) home of Adelaide Utd, in Adelaide's inner north west.
Roger was one of 7 debutants, including Manfred Schaefer & Ray Richards against the Kiwis in the Friendship Tournament in Vietnam in 1967, our first extended venture into Asia.
