Growing up not a 5 minute drive from where women's football in Sydney's north was centred in the late 70s and early 80s, Sydney FC's Remy Siemsen, Matilda #216, has named Belrose-Terry Hill Raiders as her grassroots club.
Beginning her dream as a 4-yr old at Wyatt Reserve, the same ground Socceroo Lucas Neill called home as a kid, Siemsen had been guided by Michelle Cole in the early days before making her way into the Manly-Warringah representative system and eventually into the W-League with FC.
The striker made her first appearance with the Matildas in the friendly against Brazil at CommBank Stadium at Parramatta in the game's return after Covid in 202.
The Raiders are an amalgam of the Belrose & Terry Hills clubs who came together in 1986 and Remy is their first representative to wear the Green & Gold.
