Princess Ibini has, like her brother Bernie, named Sydney's inner west club Earlwood Wanderers as her GrassRoots club.
Starting with the club as a 4yr old she spent 5 formative seasons at Earlwood Oval before beginning the climb up towards the Matildas.
The winger made her Australian debut as a 17yr old off the bench in the famous first ever victory against the might of the USA.
I caught up with her post match following an impression substitute appearance for Sydney FC against the Roar in which she netted for the first time in WWL season 18/19.
She is a delightful young woman constantly improving and it is a pleasure to welcome her aboard.
