Peter Stone has nominated the Kotara South FC as his GrassRoots club starting there as a 9 year old under the tutelage of Peter Baldwin. the whole team, coach included moved to Adamstown from where Peter made his name, playing first grade at the age of 15.
Stone won the first of his 11 caps in the Australian midfield under Jimmy Shoulder in 1976 against Hong Kong in a 0-1 loss in Canberra. Stone played alongside Australian captain Peter Wilson at Western Suburbs in Sydney at the time.
The Tigers play out of Nesbitt Park & Kotara Oval.
