The side in this pic is the 1965 Hakoah outfit after winning the State Cup. A fortnight later they would win the Australia Cup after a monumental penalty shootout with Apia ending 13-13 with lack of daylight forcing a replay. The Hakoah keeper is the latest to nominate his GrassRoots club, he is Peter Fuzes, Socceroo #185 and Hakoah was also his GrassRoots club, playing out of the vast expanse of Queens Park. Hakoah also contained fellow Socceroos Alan Marnoch (standing 4th from the right) & Danny Walsh (behind the trophy) and a host of home union internationals.
