Paul was a member of the great World Youth side of 1981 and the club he has nominated as his GrassRoots club is Dapto another from the talent rich Illawarra region an hour south of Sydney.
Paul was one of 7 debutants in the 1980 friendly against PNG but it was the following year, here in Australia, as part of the WYC side that Paul really made his mark.
The skinny forward who lived just over the fence from the club's home at Lakelands Oval, was a vital member of the best performed Australian side in our history at that point & a side that produced so many stars and honoured last year on the 35th anniversary of its achievements here on home soil.
