Socceroo #559 made his debut against Asian giants Korea in June 2013 and today adds his name and a new club to the GFP.
Mitchell (Mitch) Duke started early at Ireland Park in Sydney's south-west and was with the club till he was 9 years old when called to higher duties. The striker, now plying his trade in Japan, had no hesitation in adding Rangers to our ever growing list of GrassRoots clubs to have played their part in developing the stars of our game.
He was the only new name added to the Socceroos list in the East Asian Cup match in Hong Kong, a tournament that featured the up and comers from the A-League.
He will go down in our history as one of the few players with a goal-a-game record under his belt. Well done Mitchell & welcome aboard.
