Wynn built his career after moving to Sydney in 1938, with the famous Metters club before making his Australian debut against the touring Indians in 1938. Corporal Wynn returned from WWII duties in the Pacific to play against Sth. Africa in 1947, following in the footsteps of the legendary "Judy" Masters whose career blossomed after returning from action in WWI.
Woonona began their life at what was known as Floyd's Paddock but took up a long term lease at Ball's Paddock where the Woonona-Bulli club play to this day.
