Playing out of Hanna Reserve, in the Blacktown Assn in Sydney's north west, the club was only formed in 1997 but has flourished since. The twin pitches are beautifully surfaced & a credit to those who maintain them.
Watching Mat warm-up for his last club game in Australia, the 2012/13 A-League Grand final, I could only marvel at the young man's distribution skills which are an attacking weapon unto themselves.
Mat made his Socceroo debut only months before the GF in the EAC qualifier against Nth. Korea and the rest is history.
