Lisa has nominated Hobart Rapid (pr. Rapeed) as her GrassRoots club, a club her father John helped found in 1958.
Lisa as a 12yr old was a member of the first Rapid Women's side, competing in an 8-strong league. At 19, she impressed enough with the Tasmanian State side at nationals, to make her debut in the green & gold alongside fellow debutant Moya Dodd in Taipei against Taiwan.
Lisa would team-up with future Matilda Zoe Nolan at Kingborough during her final season of senior football.
Rapid would go on to become the Kingston Cannons in 1997 with the mandated de-ethnicising of football clubs.
While Lisa only played the one international, her place in history is assured & it is both a pleasure & an honour to have her aboard.
