Les Scheinflug nominated Hanover 96 in his native Germany as his GrassRoots club. Les is a member of a club of only 4 who have played in, then captained & coached the Australian men's national team. He was at Hanover as a 10 year old before moving to FC Prague & then migrating to Australia in the late 1950's.
Les was our first World Cup captain, leading the side against Nth Korea in our attempt to qualify for the1966 Cup. He was also Rale Rasic's assistant in Germany in 1974. A pleasure and honour to welcome him aboard.
