He made his one & only appearance in the Green & Gold in the last test of the disappointing 1955 home series against Sth. Africa. Ken scored Australia's only goal of the 5-test series in Newcastle, putting him in the very select club of Socceroos who have scored in every game they played for the country.
Ken made the move across the tracks from Kewpies to Waratahs in the under 16's where he teamed up with fellow future Socceroo goalkeeper Bill Henderson, but returned to Kewpies for his senior football.
