Socceroo #500 is the latest to nominate his GrassRoots club. His name is Karl Valeri and he is the 3rd player to name Tuggeranong Utd from the A.C.T as his club.
Karl started at the Waniassa fields as a 6-yr old under the tutelage of his father Walter and stayed with the Tuggies till he was 15.
Karl joins Matildas Lydia Williams & Amy Taylor as a Tuggeranong alumni bringing them level with Belnorth as Canberra's most productive junior club.
He made his Green & Gold debut in the 2007 friendly against China
and has since racked up over 50 more caps.
