Another Queenslander has joined the ranks in nominating his GrassRoots club & this time its Socceroo #564, Josh Brillante.
Josh has named Across the Waves FC from Bundaberg as his GrassRoots club.
The Brillante brothers went thru the ages at Thabeban St. from 5yrs of age and the midfielder was five years behind fellow Socceroo Mitch Langerak in the club's blue & gold, yet Josh beat him to green and gold honours, debuting for Australia in the East Asian Cup match against China in 2013 before signing for Serie A side Fiorentina.
His family rarely miss a game travelling from Bundy to Sydney and are still heavily involved with the club, and its not uncommon to find groups of 100 or more from the ATW in Brisbane when he plays the Roar.
A delightful young man, it is a pleasure to welcome him aboard.
