Judy was lucky to grow up in the northern Illawarra one of the hotbeds of football in this country and even luckier to be born in Balgownie, home to the oldest continuous club in the land, the Magpies of Caldwell Paddock.
Judy made his Australian debut in 1923 against NZ and would score 5 times in his 8 appearances in "A" internationals.
His 17 seasons for Balgownie began at the age of 12 and finished at 37 and like so many of his day, he mined coal for a living.
In his honour the club named their new home after him so that his name would live on, as it now also will as part of the GrassRoots football project.
Thank you Phillip Mosely & Balgownie Rangers FC.
