Socceroo #214, Jack Reilly, has nominated Inverurie Loco Works as his GrassRoots club. Travelling the 60 mile return journey from his home in Stonehaven south of Aberdeen to play and train, Jack built his game to the point where, after emigrating to Melbourne, he displaced both Jim Fraser & Ron Corry to become Australia's first choice custodian and our first WC Finals shot stopper. The first time I saw him play was in the fateful SCG game against Uruguay (pictured) but he made his debut in 1970 in the WC qualifier against Israel.
Another to whom I say, a pleasure to have you aboard.
