Xmas arrived via twitter with Matilda #108, Heather Garrick, confirming her GrassRoots club.
The second most capped Matilda (130), made her debut in the Green & Gold off the bench against the Chinese during a 2 match tour shortly after the '99 World Cup. A veteran of 3 World Cups and 2 Olympic games, Heather managed to get her name on the scoresheet 20 times during her stellar 12yr international career.
Playing in the W-League for WSW, she's also played in Denmark, Sweden & the US, and now also coaches at Sydney Uni & McArthur.
It is truly an honour to have aboard one of the legends of the Women's Game, Heather Garrick.
