Today's nominator was a member of the ground-breaking World Youth side of 1981, Socceroo #310, Glenn Ahearn.
Glenn has nominated the Musgrave Hill Soccer Club, now known as Musgrave FC, from Queensland's Gold Coast as his GrassRoots club.
Glenn was another late starter, not pulling on the boots until he was 10 & yet only 10 years later he as making his Socceroo debut in the World Cup qualifier against Indonesia.
Glenn was in goal the day Australia beat Argentina, a result that really shocked the football world. Sadly Glenn's career was cut short in a car accident.

& after 35yrs back in touch with the class of '81.
