3 clubs are inseparable in the development of Socceroo #556, Dino Djulbic. The 3 clubs are from 3 distinct phases of his life. Dino has named are Sloga Dobol from his native Bosnia, Beckum from Germany & Perth SC.
Dino's football story began watching his father captaining the Sloga side & then at the age of 9 being old enough to play himself with the club. Sadly war then intervened & Dino became a refugee escaping to Germany & continuing to build his game with Beckum. At 16 he landed at Dorrien Gardens with Perth SC and all the while his late father Esad, through 3 countries continued to be his #1 mentor.
Dino made his Socceroo debut at the heart of the Australian defence with both Aaron Mooy & Michael Marrone in the 2012 East Asian Cup against Guam.
Dino's story is unique in modern times and it has been a pleasure speaking with him & adding his name to our honour board.
