The pocket rocket Carol Vinson, Matilda #55, has nominated another club from Sydney's "leafy" north shore as her GrassRoots club.
Averaging almost a goal a game, Carol made her international debut against none other than Brazil, with fellow debutant Janine Riddington coming off the bench to grab the winner. Quite the result. She played 13 times in Australian colours but was competing with some of the legends of the game for a spot in the Australian attack who stopped her from amassing a more caps.
Carol is the second Matilda to nominate West Pymble following Leigh Wardell.
