Socceroo #155, Bruce Morrow, has nominated the Hunter unit as his GrassRoots club having started with their U14's as an 11yr old.
Bruce was a member of the '56 Olympics team, a goal scoring right winger with notches on his belt like Chelsea & Roma. He played with Wallsend, Auburn, Apia & Austral and knocked back an offer to play with Sir Stanley Matthews at Blackpool after their tour in 1958. Believe it or not, the money was better here.
