The next Matilda off the rank is Melbourne Victory's Ashley Brown, Matilda #176.
Ash has nominated a new club to the list, Monash City from Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs as her GrassRoots club. Ashley played in a mixed team to improve her skills at Monash which wasn't her first club, that was Ashburton, but it was the club from Caloola Reserve that first really stoked the fires.
Ashley made her Matilda's debut as one of 5 newbies in a friendly against New Zealand in 2012 at WIN stadium in Wollongong.
Ash gave special mention to her private coaches Darren Carr & Michael McBride for helping make it into the green & gold.
