Andy was a central defender and played in the 1920's. andy arrived from his native glasgow and settled in the southern coalfields of the Hunter, playing for Kurri Kurri before making his way to Sydney.
The team pictured here was for a "B" international against the team designated as China in 1923 in a game played at the Sydney Showgrounds.
Nominated by Bill, Andy was another Granville man who played his entire life in Sydney for the Waratahs where he would become a central figure at the club. his eldest son, also Andy played many years in the Granville 1st grade side
