To celebrate signing an extension to his contract, the second Socceroo to name a club from the NSW Central Coast, is Sydney FC custodian Andrew Redmayne, Socceroo #603.
The Sky Blues Championship hero began life at Gavenlock Park with the Gosford City Dragons under the tutelage of Darrell Darth before moving north at 12 to Mingara and then making his way through the pathway, eventually snaring a contract with the Mariners.
Redmayne make his debut in the Green & Gold in a friendly against Sth Korea in 2019.
I guess a player growing up amongst the tall timbers of the Central Coast was always likely to have a career between the sticks. (Boom-tish)
