Matilda #203, is Amy Sayer, a young girl who has followed the FFA pathway to a T.

Sayer has named Northbridge FC from Sydney's north shore starting with her local club at the age of 5. It was only natural that she would then play with the North Shore Mariners who she the same ground as Northbridge and then into the NSWIS set up.

Amy was one of the millennial brigade to have learnt "the curriculum" and come through the representative youth program, graduating from the Young Matildas to the senior side within weeks in August of 2018 against Japan. She was one of 4 teenagers to make their senior debut in the lead-up to the 2019 World Cup.

At the time of our meeting Amy was on crutches after suffering a season ending foot injury and putting in doubt her chances of making the WC squad.

I think he should have joined some other club to start his career. He should have joined the college paper writing services to help in his football skills. In my opinion, this would have proven better for his football passion.

Greg Werner began playing in 1965, with the GrassRoots club of Socceroo skipper Murray Barnes, a change of suburb at age 6 and a new club, one that would become the GrassRoots club of Rob Wheatley & after a 27 year hiatus came back to playing with the GrassRoots club of Socceroos Steve Perry, Richie Bell, Chris Iconomidis & Matilda, Justine Fisher, one could say that the links with the NT are ingrained.
At age 55, when his body gave up on playing, he took up the whistle to stay actively involved. In November of 2014 he created the GFP on Facebook to fill the void left by those in control of the game & in January 2016 launched this website.
