Just south of Cairns in far north Queensland is the town of Gordonvale in the shadow of Walsh's Pyramid and it was here that Socceroo #544 grew into the football family with Souths.
As with all the clubs from the region Souths played their football at Endeavour Park in Cairns the home of FNQFootball and Adam started in the U9s, but by the U13s he was already in Brisbane playing alongside Robbie Kruse at Pine Rivers, who was also at the same school.
Adam made the first of his 3 appearances all from the bench in the 2-1 win over Wales in Cardiff, alongside Kruse, who also was a second half sub.
